Wikipedia, WordPress and thousands of other sites are blacked out today in protest of the Stop Online Piracy Act. SOPA is a piece of legislation that would allow the government to censor the internet by shutting down sites without due process of law at the mere accusation – warranted or not – of rights infringement.
